Gordon Kingston

Reader of the books. Looker at the art.

What does Alasdair Gray mean to you?

White background with the word ERUDITE in black
White background with the word HONEST in black
White background with the word COLOURFUL in black

Explain yourself?

Hmmmm... Erudite… I never met Alasdair, but you can see it in his books; how much knowledge he had taken in, how much he had? He must have been a wonder to listen to…

And how terribly honest he could be? About his life and himself. Much more honest than I could ever be, I'm sure, if I had been in his place...

Colourful for the books and the art. Both. And the life maybe, I guess, I don't know for definite! But, his paintings, what a slam of colours they are.
